Book Donations
Please do not leave book donations outside of the library, in the lobby, or book drop.
The Big Rapids Community Library takes new and gently used book donations.
Please read our Gift Policy.
The library will place items we do not use in our collection in the Friends of the Library Book Sales or our Phelps Little Free Libraries.
Please bring your donations to the circulation desk when the library is open.
We offer receipts for the items donated on request.
View the Library's Amazon Wish-list here and purchase books for the library directly.
Items we do NOT accept:
Mildewed, dirty, or damaged items are not accepted.
Magazines, textbooks, old encyclopedias, or copied pages of books in binders. We do not accept VHS tapes, cassette tapes, etc.
If you have questions regarding donating materials, please call 231-796-5234.
Mecosta County Recycle can take these types of items.
