Seed Library
“If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.”
― Cicero
What is a Seed Library?
A seed library is a community resource where individuals can borrow and share seeds for gardening. Members take seeds to grow and are encouraged to save and return seeds from their harvest. This promotes sustainable gardening and fosters community among gardeners, often including educational resources and workshops.
The library has many gardening resources, from books to programs and databases. We recently introduced our Plant Propagation Station, where house plants can be started and shared.
